Free Member Terms

By creating a free member account on rdci.net ("the Website"), you agree to the following terms. RDCI.net is a service provided by the CDE Platforms Group ("the Operator"). This Policy links with the CDE Privacy Statement, which governs how we use your data. This Policy is available at rdci.net/privacy. The Website may not be available at all times, and under no circumstances does the Operator guarantee that the website will be available 24/7.

This website is not-for-profit and does not gain any revenue.
1 - Membership
You must be 16 years or older to sign up for a RDCI membership.
Free membership allows you to access certain features that are not accessible to members that do not have an RDCI account (defined as an RDCI Web Services account).
Membership is provided free of charge, and may be modified, suspended or discontinued at any time, subject to the Operator's discretion.
2 - Account Information
The Operator collects some of your personal information to fulfill the membership that you have signed up for. You must ensure that this information is up to date, and only use your own information when creating an account.
Additionally, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, and any activity that occurs under it (such as comments).
3 - Acceptable Use
By using the Website, you agree not to:
- Use the Website for unlawful purposes
- Submit content that is abusive, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
- Attempt to gain access to restricted parts of the Website, or the Operator's other services
- Interfere with the operation or security of the site
4 - User Generated Content
If you submit comments or other content on the Website, you retain ownership of said content. However, you grant the Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, store and distribute that content in connection with operating the Website.
5 - Comment Moderation
Members may be permitted to publish comments on the Website, subject to these terms.
By posting a comment you agree that:
- Your comment must be respectful and relevant to the article and/or discussion.
- Your comment is not unlawful, defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, misleading or otherwise illegal or inappropriate.

- You are solely responsible for the comments you submit, even if you are not the one using your account at the time, unless you have reported unauthorised access to the Operator.
The Operator reserves the right, but is not obligated to, review, edit, hide or remove comments at its sole discretion and without notice.
Repeated violations of these terms may result in comments being removed, or your comment privileges being terminated. The Operator may also revoke your membership and remove your account.
The views expressed in comments are those of the individual authors, and do not necessary reflect the view of the Website, its authors, or the Operator.
6 - Emails and Newsletters
By becoming a member, you may receive emails relating to your account, site updates, newsletters or new articles/content.
You may unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time by logging into your account, or clicking the "Manage my preferences" hyperlink at the bottom of the email you were sent.
7 - Privacy
Your personal information is collected to deliver the Website's services, and it will be handled in accordance with the CDE Privacy Statement, available at rdci.net/privacy.
8 - Termination
The Website or the Operator may suspend or terminate your membership at any time if you breach these terms, or engage in behaviour that may harm the Website, the Operator, and/or other users.
You can cancel your membership at any time by deleting your account or by emailing [email protected].
9 - Content Disclaimer
The content published on this Website is provided for general information purposes only, and while reasonable efforts are taken to ensure the accuracy of said content, no guarantees are given regarding the completeness, reliability or accuracy of any information.
10 - Changes to these terms
The Operator may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Website after changes are published constitute your acceptance of the revised terms.
